"It hasn't gone wrong yet" isn't good enough.
We don't rise to the occasion, we fall to the level of our systems.
"One of the best classes I’ve had, no lie."
"One of the best courses I've ever taken. Knowledgeable, hands-on instruction!"
"Very personable and humorous, good story telling and related information to practical experiences."
Training to fit your needs.
All of our classes are...
- Fun, hands-on, interactive, and engaging!
- Based on NFPA and FEMA guidelines.
- Taught by the most knowledgeable and personable instructors.
- The right length for each topic, and they'll fly by! The most common thing we hear: "I can't believe that was three hours, it feels like we just got here!"
- Constantly revised and improved on a regular basis.
- Approved for CEUs for EMTs (NREMT, etc.).
- Applicable to every member of your organization, regardless of their certification level (drivers, EMTs, police officers, firefighters, etc.)
Who teaches the courses?
WearARMR partners with only the best training agencies with the most knowledgeable, engaging, passionate educators. If we wouldn't want to take an 8-hour class with them, we don't certify them!
The WearARMR instructor certification is a challenging course that entails observations, sample teaching and feedback. Are you one of the best? Let us know!
WearARMR 800: Emergency Incident Rehabilitation
8 CEUs
This full-day course combines our courses (below) into one in-depth, engaging, and FUN class that covers what you'll need to know to save the lives of first responders on any scene.
This class covers all of the topics seen below in the other three classes, including:
- Hot and cold emergencies
- Turnout gear and firefighter down CPR
- The criteria for good rehabilitation
- Actually setting up a rehab area
- Roleplaying with stand-in firefighters
- Rehabilitation area placement
WearARMR 300: Firefighter Rehabilitation (3 CEUs)
This class is a comprehensive, hands-on, "wow that training went by so fast" 3-hour class covering everything you and your agency need to know about firefighter rehabilitation. It is a shortened version of Emergency Incident Rehabilitation (8 CEUs), and therefore doesn't go into the same amount of detail.
We'll answer all of these questions and more:
- What kills firefighters?
- What do firefighters actually wear?
- How do you do Firefighter Down CPR?
- What are the most essential functions of rehab?
- What materials and supplies do you really need for rehab?
- How can we get firefighters to go to rehab?
- Where should we place rehab at an incident?
WearARMR 400: Heat Kills (3 CEUs)
It's logical how cold kills you (because we're made of water, and water freezes), but how does heat kill us? We'll dive into both hot and cold emergencies and learn how we can harness physics and biochemistry (don't worry, it'll be easy to remember) to save first responders' lives.
We'll answer all of these questions and more:
- What effect do your local climatic conditions have on firefighters?
- How does heat actually kill us?
- Where do signs and symptoms of heat emergencies come from?
- Why is a highway a terrible place to be in the winter?
- How can turnout gear kill firefighters?
- How do we STOP heat?
WearARMR 500: Rehabilitation Placement (2 CEUs)
This VR-assisted course puts you and your team on numerous scenes, practicing where to place rehab areas in both easy and challenging locations.
We'll answer all of these questions and more:
- What are the criteria for good rehabilitation placement?
- What elements do you need to consider when placing rehab?
- What role does communication play in rehab placement?
